On March 3, 1925 Ethel Faye McCool was born the 4th of Bennie and Jewel Faye McCool. Being the youngest of 4 sisters she was her dad’s tomboy and tagged along with her daddy anywhere possible. She was the quintessential tomboy in the forest cutting timber or in the woods hunting squirrel, rabbit, and deer with her dad whom she loyally adored.
As drum major in Sheridan High School, she proudly led the band. In her young married life, she became an avid supporter of the Girl Scouts of America. Eventually designing and building camp crossed arrows near Floral, Arkansas. She was always known for her spunky persona and sense of adventure.
On March 10, 2021 at 12:29 PM CST, she translated from this life on earth to be face to face with the Lord Jesus Christ, seven days after her 96th birthday on March 3rd. Though she will be a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend missed, we rejoice in that she is in eternal rest in the light of the Lord Jesus Christ where there is no more sorrow, pain, tears, and suffering for all of eternity.
There are no services scheduled for Mrs. Ethel at this time.
