William “Bill” Thomas Willis, 66, of Cabot, formerly of Fort Smith, Arkansas and proud Texan by birth, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024 in Searcy. He was born September 28, 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late James Harold Willis and Nora Irene (Knowles) Willis.
Bill was Church of Christ in faith; he attended church with his mother in Forth Smith for many years before her passing. He worked as an accountant and enjoyed reading. Bill had a wild imagination, was full of quirks, and was an avid collector of all things.
He is survived by his siblings, Rennie Williams of Searcy, James “Jim” Willis (Rosa) of Folly, Alabama, Suzanne Willis of Fort Smith, and Mark Allen Willis (Kim) of Grayson, Georgia; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, George Nathan Willis and sister-in-law, Debra Willis.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home Chapel.
