William L. Simpson

William Lee Simpson, 66, of Higginson, died Friday March 9, 2007. He was born March 9, 1941 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Horace Simpson and Nettie Kate Watson Simpson Roberson. Willie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Rudell Roberson.

He is survived by his former wife of 37 years and friend, Janette Simpson; two sons, William Scott Simpson of Clinton, Arkansas and Michael Todd Simpson of Searcy; one daughter, Sandra Annette Bunker of Searcy; two sisters, Mary Frances Alexander of Riverside, California and Madeline Barber of Searcy; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday March 11, 2007 from 3:00-5:00 PM at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday March 12, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Chapel. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
