Wanda Smith

Wanda EldaJean Smith, 87, of Searcy went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 1st at her home. She was born August 12, 1929 in Pangburn, Arkansas to the late Fred and Mable (Pratt) Albert.
Wanda was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Clay. She was loving, kind, and compassionate. Wanda never met a stranger. You always felt welcome and comfortable with Wanda. She was a caretaker for several of her loved ones over the years. She loved cooking, vegetable gardening, flower gardening, and spending time with husband. They were always together. Wanda treasured her children, and cherished her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kathy Roark (Rick); one son, Chris Smith (Sherry) all of Searcy; two grandchildren, Cody Christopher Smith, and Ashley Ryan Roark.
In addition to her parents Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Smith; two sons, Eddie Ray and Teddy Joe Smith; one grandson; Levi Aaron Smith; one brother, Truman Albert; and two sisters, Velva Mathews Fields, and Wynetta Marsh.
