Vonnie May Langley

Vonnie May Langley, 85, of Searcy, passed from this life on July 20, 2018. She was born on March 22, 1933 to the late Everett and Rethie (Hill) Meharg in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas.

She retired from Wonder Bread Hostess Cake Thrift Store. Vonnie was a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Searcy.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lanie Jay Langley of Searcy; two daughters, Paula Langley of Searcy, and Cristy Langley Waire of Pangburn (Rick); four grandchildren, Amber Dillon Bramlett of Pangburn (Scott), Blaine Waire of Searcy (Jamie), Dustin Langley of Searcy, and Shelby Waire King of Heber Springs (Jordan); one brother, Del Hill of Gainesville, Texas (Linda); six great-grandchildren, Kaylie, Wesley, and Carson Waire; Beau and Ryan Bramlett;

 and Callie Claire King; and four nieces and two nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Verl, Verdie, and Merle Meharg.

Visitation will be Monday, July 23, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 10:00am at Searcy McEuen Chapel with burial following at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
