Vernice Raymond Teague

June 23, 1924 — June 18, 2013

Vernice Raymond Teague, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at White County Medical Center. He was born June 23, 1924 in Culp, Arkansas to the late Charlie Teague and Pearl Williams Teague.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He was of the Methodist Faith. Mr. Teague was a loving father, grandfather and was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Dawson Teague; two sons, Gary Teague and Dennis Teague; and six sisters.
He is survived by four sons, Donald Ray Teague of Lake Jackson, Texas, Robert Teague (Janet) of Judsonia, Roger Teague (Marquita) of Searcy, and Jeff Teague (Paula) of San Antonio, Texas; six daughters, Diana Allen of Newport, Judy Pettit of Camden, Vicki Duncan (Butch) of Searcy, Denise Taylor (Jake) of Judsonia, Tammy Teague of Judsonia and Angie Shelton (Mitchell) of Searcy; two sisters, Verbenia Skinner of Judsonia and Lela Mae Holden of Malvern; twenty-four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, June 20th from 6-8 PM at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home with burial following at Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia.
