Vera Short Brown

Vera Short Brown "Red", 91 of Kensett, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 25, 2008. Red as she was known was born May 16, 1917 in Kensett, AR. to the late William and Mattie Jones.
Vera was a member of Centennial Baptist Church in Kensett. She was a homemaker, a strong mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother and great great.

Vera was preceded in death by her first husband, William Short also, her last husband Lucious Brown and two sisters, Clara and Renetta Jones.

Vera is survived by two daughters, Delores ( Short) Stewart of St. Louis, MO. And Arlinda (Short) Stegall of Searcy, AR.; Five grandchildren, LaVone Brown, Patrice Brown, Vera Billingsley, Vanessa Short and Mario Stewart. Eleven Great grandchildren; Five great great grandchildren. Also, many extended family members and a host of friends.
