Van Herrington Stevens

Van Herrington Stevens Jr., 74, of Searcy passed away at his home on August 17, 2020.  He was born April 17, 1946 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Van Sr. and JoeDella (Rayburn) Stevens.

Van was a member of First Baptist Church in Searcy, an old car enthusiast, and a past president of the Razorback Antique Car Club.  Driving cars in parades was a passion that he treasured.  Van loved going to auctions and was a collector of many things.  He was a beloved brother and friend to everyone he met.

Van was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Rayburn Stevens.

Left to cherish Van’s memory are his two brothers, Lynn Stevens (Charlotte), James Stevens (Janice); one sister Ann Holland (Alvin); His dearest companion, Freda Godwin, all of Searcy.

Nieces and Nephews, Valerie Hunt, Amy Thomas (Jeremy), David Stevens (Sarah), Ashton Holland and Austin Holland; great nieces and nephews, Wade Jones, Jobe Thomas, Taryn Hunt, Ethan Hunt, Lane Stevens and Reid Stevens.
