Sandra Kay Layrock

Sandra Kay Layrock, 79, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025. She was born in Searcy, Arkansas on September 4, 1946 to Amon Burl Layrock and Edna Jane Thompson Layrock. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Haskel Dale Layrock, Haynes Keith Layrock and Larry Sneed Layrock (Barbara).

She was a member of West Race Baptist Church. She worked for Walmart Transportation for 34 years as a driver coordinator retiring, February 2016.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Dell Layrock of Oklahoma; 3 nieces, Carolyn Light of Texas, Brenda Scott (Scott) of West Point, AR, Melinda Allison (William) of Oklahoma; 5 nephews, Tony Layrock (Susan) of Searcy, AR, Eddie Layrock of Paragould, AR, David Layrock of West Point, AR, Mike Layrock (Donna) of West Point, Ronnie Layrock (Nancy) of West Point, AR; many great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; 1 great-great-great nephew; and many great-great-great nieces.

Visitation will be at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Gum Springs Cemetery. www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com.
