Ruthie Marie Foster

Ruthie Marie Foster, 80, of Higginson, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at home. She was born April 27, 1942 in Dewitt, Arkansas to the late Early Harvest Kidd and Polly Marie (Brown) Kidd. Ruthie was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed cooking and fishing. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny E. Foster; children, Melissa Robinson of Higginson, Polly Blansett and husband Richard of Searcy and Patricia Norman and husband Ray of Higginson; grandchildren, Joshua Rayburn, Shalen Gray, Jacob Gray, Courtney Stevens, and Kaitlyn Wright; great-grandchildren, Lynnleigh Dawson, Oliver Dawson, Xylie Doby, Rhea Rayburn, Adilyn Rayburn, Kenzleigh Gray, Waylon Stevens and Ember Gray; brothers, James Kidd and Sidney Kid (Joann) both of Higginson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Richard Kidd, Rosie Kidd, Nancy Kidd, George Kidd, John Kidd, Fred Kidd, Berti Waggle, and Mary Nelson.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, April 12, 2023 at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
