Ruth Elizabeth (Blansett) Buckie

Ruth Elizabeth (Blansett) Buckie, 89, of Searcy passed away Tuesday, October 25th at her home. She was born February 7, 1927 in Imboden, Arkansas to the late Ralph and Johnnie (Haulcroft) Blansett.

Ruth was a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ. She was the owner of Blansett Shoe Store in Searcy. Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.

Ruth is survived by three daughters, Vickie McConnell (Ronnie) of Arlington, Tennessee, Beverly Tharp (Jerry) of Searcy, and Liz Holleman (Jeff) of McRae; Jonna Graham of Searcy; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and one brother, Jimmy Blansett of Searcy.

In addition to her parents Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Buckie; and one brother, Raymond Clyde Blansett.

A Private family service will be held on Friday, October 28th.
