Royce Free, 81, passed away on April 20, 2026. He was born in Kensett, Arkansas, on May 28, 1944 to the late Oscar and Pearl Free.
His favorite pastimes were hunting and talking on the CB radio as Deer Hunter.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Polly Free; three sons, Troy (Natalie) Free, Troyce Free, and Dewayne Free all of Searcy, Arkansas; four grandchildren, T.J. (Sydney) Free of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Hunter (Leah) Free of Searcy, Arkansas, Hali Free of Brooklyn, New York; and Landon Free of Fayetteville, Arkansas; six great grandchildren, Kylee, Karsten, Kodi, Wilder, Bodhi, and Dawson.
In addition to his parents, Royce was preceded in death by three siblings, Omar, Reba, and Noah.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24th from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Foster’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the funeral service starting at 2:00 pm.
Burial will follow at the Foster’s Chapel Cemetery.
All Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
