Rose Lee Pool

Rose Lee Pool, 85, of Searcy went to be with the Lord, Friday, May 10^th at The Springs of Searcy surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 14, 1938, in New Edinburg, Arkansas to the late Jack and Lillian (McClellan) Pulley.

Rose was a member of Whitney Lane Family Worship in Kensett, Arkansas. She was married for 55 years and one day to the love of her life, Henry Pool. Rose retired from Matthews International Bronze Corp in Searcy. Afterwards, she went back to work for Walmart as a door greeter for 10 years. Rose spent the last two and a half years at The Springs of Searcy where she quickly became a favorite resident. The Pool family would like to express their deep appreciation to all the staff and thank them for all of their love and hard work. Rose was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Henry Pool; one daughter, Rita Smith (J.C.) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one son, Gregory Bradley (Vickie) of Warren, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Robbie Austin, Richie Austin, Tori Reams, Maggie Hughes (Justin), Courtney Green (Andy), Matthew Henson, Allison McCanless, Victoria Oswald, and Kelly Oswald; four great grandchildren, Roland Long, Kinsley Sellers, Todd Sellers, and Waylon Hughes; one brother, Wilton Pulley (Opal) of Warren, Arkansas; and one sister-in-law, Carol of Fordyce, Arkansas.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by one sister, Marie Russell, and one brother, Benny Pulley.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Sunday, May 12th at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, May 13^th in the Searcy McEuen Chapel with entombment following at White County Memorial Gardens.
