Ronald Joseph Searcy

Ronald Joseph Searcy, 83, went to be with the Lord on August 17th.  He was born on July 5, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Joseph and Virginia (Berry) Searcy.

Joe was a devoted husband, who loved his family.  He was an artist, he built furniture, and enjoyed anything to do with construction.  He designed several houses in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.  He was a member of Revival Church in Searcy.  He was super inventive and wasn’t happy unless he was tinkering on something.   He enjoyed many things such as going to church, nature, and traveling.   He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years; Alicia Searcy, four sons; Bradford Joseph Searcy (Carol) of Loveland, Ohio, Brian Joseph Searcy (Jennifer) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bret Jeffrey Searcy (Shana Pederson) of West Orange, New Jersey, Michael David Searcy (Antwinette Klym) of St. Petersburg, Florida, three daughters; Julia Bozarth (Jeff) of Gastonia, North Carolina, Terri Faller of West Chester, Ohio, Michelle White (Vincent) of Columbus, Ohio; seventeen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 21st from 2:00 till 3:00 pm at Revival Church of Searcy.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 21st at 3:00 pm at Revival Church of Searcy.  Burial will follow at Weir Cemetery located off highway 267.
