Roger Lee Tims, 64, of McRae, passed away, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at home. He was born September 7, 1959 in Lompoc, California to Bob Tims, Jr. and the late Minnie Pearl (Mason) Tims. Roger was an Army and Air Force Veteran having served his country proudly. He entered into the service after graduating from Cabot High School. He was an avid Razorback fan, gym enthusiast and enjoyed his daily run. Spending time riding his motorcycle was also his favorite pastime. 

He is survived by his daughter, Celena Thompson (Greg), grandsons, Noah, Carson, Evan, and Liam Morris; son, Brennen Tims (Olivia); his father, Bob Tims, Jr.; sister, Penny Antimo (Felix), nieces, Felicia Johnson (Pete), Sabrina Uhiren (Zach), and Miranda Antimo (Derek Shults); his best friend, Jerry Henley; and his dog, Austin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie and his brother, Jeffery Allen Tims. 

Visitation will be held Friday, May 17, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with services to begin at 11:00 a.m. Military Honors will be presented by the United States Air Force. 

Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2024, at Arkansas States Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. 

All Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
