Roger Todd Ranes

Roger Todd Ranes, 57, of Searcy died Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Unity Health Hospital.

He was born July 16, 1965, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Roger was a 1983 graduate of Judsonia High School, a United States Army Veteran, was working at Walmart Distribution in Searcy and had been a faithful employee for 20 years. He loved his nieces and nephews dearly and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. He also enjoyed his cats; they were like his children. Roger will be dearly missed by all those that knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Norma Ranes; sister, Karen Ranes; nieces, Jessica Briggs, Jennifer Swafford, and Taylor Walls; nephew, David Michael Walls; and cousin, Vickie Daugherty.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Ranes; grandparents, Roy and Daisy Ranes and Ruby and Edward Jarrard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Searcy Humane Society.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 11:00 to 12:00 at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home with services to begin promptly at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia.
