Rodney Lee Cartwright

Rodney Lee Cartwright, 57, of Hodge, Louisiana, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at White County Medical Center. He was born October 22, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Eunice and Louise Wooten Cartwright.
Rodney was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed fishing and was a New Orleans Saints fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jennifer Marie Cartwright.
He is survived by his wife, Lila Cartwright of Hodge, Louisiana; one son, Johnny Lee Cartwright; two step-sons, Rusty and H.B. Smith; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Bobby and Ronald Cartwright; five sisters, Anita Wyatt, Cathy Loggains, Nelda Bennett, Emma Gude, and Lisa Gillihan as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Graveside services are to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Optimus Cemetery near Calico Rock, Arkansas.
