Robert Lee Shawn

Robert Lee Shawn, 71, of Searcy died Friday, February 7th at his home. He was born February 2, 1942 to the late Homer Fredrick Shawn and Mary Margaret Hastings Shawn in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He was a member of Crosby Baptist Church. He was also an avid hunter and loved people. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret Shawn of Searcy; two sons, Bobby Shawn and wife, Karen of Searcy and James Shawn of Searcy; one daughter, Dena Anderson and husband, Kyle of Searcy; one brother, Joe Shawn of Mesa, Arizona; two sisters, Helen Henderson of Bernie, Missouri, and Sue Smith of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, February 8th at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9th in the funeral home chapel with interment following at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
