Raymond Wilburn Johnson

Raymond Johnson, 84, of Searcy passed away on Monday, November 29th. He was a loving husband of 65 years to Rose and a father of three. Raymond was born on July 4, 1937, in Des Arc, Arkansas to the late Curtis and Lucy Johnson.

Raymond served in the Marine Corps from 1957-1960. He worked in Maintenance for 40 years. He was a member of Floyd Assembly of God Church. Raymond loved all the outdoors but especially fishing. Nothing made him happier than enjoying his family and he was certainly the life of the party.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, December 3rd at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will start at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 3rd in the Searcy McEuen Chapel with burial following at Oaklawn Cemetery in Brinkley, Arkansas.
All Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Mr. Raymond and Mrs. Rose were my neighbors. They literally watched me grow up until I moved out of my parents home. I will never forget him telling me how proud he was of me and my accomplishments. That meant the world to me because I always looked up to both him and Mrs. Rose. Mr. Raymond had such beautiful eyes and that smile of his was quite contagious. Undoubtedly, he was a blessing to all who knew him!
