Porter Larry Nichols

Porter L. Nichols, 88, of Pangburn, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026. He was born November 20, 1937 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Dewey and Aletha (Hoye) Nichols.

Porter was a Vietnam Veteran, Navy Recruiter, and handyman. His heart was large, and he never met a stranger.

He goes to meet his wife of 49 years, Marion Nichols. He is survived by his grandsons, John Mitchell, Jr, Angelo Mitchell, and Patrick Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn Robbins and McKenzie Hinderer; and family, Carol and Barbara Sue Bennett, Larry and Danny Nichols, and Charlotte Stroud and Laura Henry.

He is preceded by his wife, parents, and his siblings, John Nichols, Mary Withem and Alene Bennett.

A visitation will be held at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Arrangements by Searcy McEuen Funeral Home,
