Dear family, our hearts are sadden but we are smiling because we know mother is at peace. Our prayer is that you all feel the presence of God during this time. His comfort is much more than our words can say, but do know we love you all and are happy you all know the Lord. We will greatly miss Ms. Ellen, she shared so much with us. I loved to hear her say "daughter" and enjoyed her sharing words of wisdom like, "take care of your pastor." Love and Peace I speak for your St. James Family.

Mrs Turner, (we called her "Ms Ellen") was so very special. We did not know her for a very long time, however the time we spent with her left a lasting and lovely impression. We love her and will never forget her.

Ida,
Your mother was a wonderful, always smiling, helpful woman. I have fond memories of her from Girl Scouts, school functions and just seeing her at the store. She always stopped to say hello and tell me how you were doing. She was a very precious woman. I know you will miss her. Prayers for you and your family. Judy (Free) Roberts

I have so many warm and wonderful memories of Ellen as well as her husband Ed. The most peaceful place in my life was sitting at her kitchen table drinking a glass of tea while we just talked about life.
