Paulette Rice

Paulette Rice was born, February 25, 1943, at Sidon, Arkansas and left this world for her heavenly home Saturday, January 22nd. She was a 1961 graduate of Searcy High School and a long time and faithful member of Crosby Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Brady and Grace (Watkins) Rice, a sister Carolyn Redding and brothers Joe and Sammy Rice.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Lorene Rice, various cousins, and her best friend of fifty-five years Barbara Murdaugh Steward.

She worked as a housekeeper for the Robert Dacus and Tim Duke Families for forty years. During that time, she earned a special place in their hearts as an honorary family member.

Paulette brought joy to everyone she met, from her church family to the girls at the bank, and her special Sonic friends. Her positive attitude and infectious laugh will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Center Hill Presbyterian Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crosby Church of Christ.
