Opal and Doyle both left us with wonderful memories at their home church. They are both missed. We look forward to seeing them at the resurrection and beyond.

Cousin Angie and all of the family, I am sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Opal. I have many memories of Aunt Opal and Uncle Doyle and making trips to see them and then visit at Uncle Wayne and Aunt Barbara home. One of my memories was the Dauchshand they had named Hans. When you went to hug Aunt Opal, Hans would loudly and matter of factly inform you that was "his mama"! She was a sweet lady who we had many meals at her dinner table. She was faithful to Uncle Doyle, her children and her Lord and church! I know she had longed for many years to join Uncle Doyle and all of the Melton brothers around the feet of Jesus! We pray for comfort for all of the family and we are very sorry we were unable to make it back to Arkansas to attend the homegoing service. We love you all and we love you Aunt Opal! Please tell my Daddy and Mama that I said hello and we will all be there to join you soon! Your Nephew, Rev. Eric Melton and Family (Son Of your late Brother, Wendell Melton)

Miss Opal, I never had the honor of meeting you but you raised a wonderful daughter. God speed. Say hello to my momma who died 3 years ago dripping the same mean disease they've named dementia.
