Nancy Pearl Ditto Kidd, 78, of Kensett, Ark, lovingly known as “Nanny” to many, left this world to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 11, 2020. Nancy was born in Georgetown, Arkansas on November 11, 1941 to the late Willie and Catherine Turner Ditto. She was a member of the Georgetown Church of God of Prophecy. Nancy and her husband LeRoy were the owners of Kidd Fish Market in Kensett for many years. She was best known for her ability to wield a knife to cut up many a pound of fish.
She is survived by 1 son, Richard Kidd (Nikki) of Searcy, and 2 step-sons, Kenny Kidd (Lisa) of Beebe, and Perry Kidd (Debra); 2 special daughters, Brandon Kidd of Searcy and Candy Vanpelt of Judsonia; 5 grandchildren, Mason, Tera, Trevor, Christopher and Monica; 5 great-grandchildren, Trace, Trisdon, Amelia, Bentlie and Raini; 1 sister, Jerlean Overstreet (Jack) of Georgetown; and a host of nieces and nephews that all held a special place in her heart. She is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Kidd, 2 brothers, Robert and Homer Ditto, 1 sister, Dolly Holloway and 1 stillborn sibling known as Baby Ditto. Nancy was one of the most giving and loving people you would ever meet. To know her was to love her. She will be greatly missed and held in our hearts till we will all meet again.
