Muriel Fetzer Lussi

Muriel Fetzer Lussi, 97, of Searcy formerly of Heber Springs, died Monday, December 10, 2012 at Byrd Haven Nursing Home. She was born February 7, 1915 in New York, New York to the late Louis and Jeanne Fetzer.

Mrs. Lussi and her late husband, Robert Lussi Sr., moved to Heber Springs after their retirement from New York. From Heber Springs, Mr. and Mrs. Lussi moved to Searcy to become long time residents of the River Oak Village Retirement Center. Mrs. Lussi is survived by her step son, Robert Lussi Jr. of Pound Ridge, New York as well as many friends. She will be forever remembered for her candor, class, and generosity.

At her request, she donated her body to the UAMS Anatomical Gift Program. A memorial service has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the River Oaks Village Independent Living Center, 3012 E. Moore Ave. Searcy, Arkansas 72143.
