Mildred "Millie" G. Price

Mildred G. (Millie) Price of Searcy, Arkansas left her earthly home Saturday, May 18, 2024.  Mildred was born on December 24, 1944 to Eugene and Doris Armstrong in Corning, Arkansas.

Mildred spent most of her life as a teacher after moving to Searcy, Arkansas in 1966.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Betsy Karnes and Karen Chambers, also a little dog, named Houdini.

Mildred very much enjoyed caring for children, including several foster children. Also St. Jude Hospital had a special place in her heart.

Mildred is survived by her husband, Ronnie E. Price; two daughters, Terri Brandt (Jim), Ronda Fischer (Rusty); one son, Chris Price (Sophia); two sisters, Brenda Jackson and Linda Armstrong; six grandchildren, Josh (Misty), Kristen, Ashley (Chris), Matthew, Madison (Kreston), and Drake; also six great-great-grandchildren.

Mildred was a longtime member of the College Church of Christ.  

A graveside service will be held a Oak Grove Cemetery in Searcy on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, you may send contributions to Paragould Children’s Homes or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  Arrangements by Searcy McEuen Funeral Home, www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com.
