Mildred Gay

Mildred Gay, 92 passed away Monday, April 22, 2013 at White County Medical Center. She was born July 12, 1920 in Tyler, Arkansas to the late Oby Waters and Pearl Taylor Waters.

Mildred was a member of First General Baptist Church in Searcy. She was also a past member of Floral Baptist Church. A devout Christian and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother; She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Duel Gay; four brothers, Ernest, Oby, Ruell and Melvin Waters.

She is survived by one son, Duel Terry Gay and wife Betty of Henderson, Nevada; two daughters, Billie Bennett and husband Robert of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas; Pam Siler and husband Darell of Searcy, Arkansas; one brother, JC Waters; two sisters, Sethell Regan and Mary Beard; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday April 24, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Thursday at Searcy-McEuen Chapel with burial following at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
