Marlon R. Heggie

Marlon R. Heggie, 70 of Searcy, died March 26, 2007. He was born May 7, 1936 in Searcy, the son of Carlton Ralph and Lillie Emma (Watson) Heggie. He was a member of Harmony Friendship Church of Christ. He was an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Marty Heggie and a brother, J.D. Heggie.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Heggie, of Searcy; two daughters, Rita Heggie of Searcy and Linda Gassaway and husband, Steve of Judsonia; a sister, Faye Heggie of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Bryan Haer and wife, Nicole and Rhonda Taylor and husband, Isaac; and three great-grandchildren, Austin, Sydney and Brendon.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 29, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Chapel. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery.
