Marilyn Jones

Marilyn Jones, 93, of Searcy, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at home. She was born August 13, 1933 in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Raymond and Lorene (Sewell) Gilreath.

Marilyn attended the Searcy Church of God and enjoyed playing the piano. She retired from the State Farm Insurance Company.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry M. Jones and Darrell R. Jones; two sisters, Patsy Jordan and husband Jimmy and Dicky Trotter and husband Bobby; a brother, Rick Gilreath and wife Peggy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Clyde Bennett and husband of 49 years, Cecil H. Jones.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home with services to follow at 2:00 p.m.
