Margaret Laverne Guthrie

Margaret Laverne Guthrie, 46, of Conway, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2007. She was born March 15, 1960, in Des Arc, Arkansas.

Margaret was a fun loving person that was loved by everyone that met her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis and Rachel Guthrie of Georgetown.
She is survived by six sisters, Annette Day and husband Joe of Bella Vista; Pauline Franzi and husband Vernon of Quitman; Ola Griffin of Greenbrier; Frances Cardin and husband David of Greenbrier; Rachel White and husband David of Searcy; and Lois Williams and husband Eric of Judsonia; three brothers, Bob Guthrie of St. Louis, Missouri; Odis Guthrie and wife Patty of Beebe; Tommy Guthrie of Searcy; 37 nieces and nephews, 40 great nieces and nephews, and her very special buddy and nephew Brian Williams.

Pallbearers will be Mark Bowie, Kyle Griffin, Brian Williams, Eddie Starks, Bruce Guthrie and Chris Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Stevenson, Kenneth Stevenson, Tommy Guthrie Jr., and Marcus Guthrie.

The family would like to thank the staff and friends of the Conway Human Development Center that have so graciously been a friend and part of Margaret's family and taken such good care of her over the past 31 years. They would also like to thank the doctors and staff at Conway Regional Medical Center and Village Park Hospice for the wonderful care and support they have provided over the past week, with a special thanks to Dr. Lea and Dr. Landburg.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, Friday March 2, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday March 3, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Chapel. Interment will follow at West Point Cemetery in West Point, Arkansas.
