Mae Etta Rhodes

Mae Etta (Hill) Rhodes, 88, of Searcy passed away Sunday, August 2nd at her home. She was born September 17, 1931 in Kensett, Arkansas to the late Ollie and Ruby (Ainley) Ausburn.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, two sons, Carlon Hill (Barbara) and Christopher Hill both of Searcy; four daughters, Etta Melton  (Gary), Phyllis Fitzgerald (Donnie) all of Searcy, Shelia Sherbourn (Bobby) of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Jacquline Black (Bobby) of Heber Springs; two brothers, Fred Ausburn and William Ausburn both of Benton; one sister, Louise McNew of Benton; eighteen grandchildren and multitude of great grandchildren. Mae was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her first husband, Audie Hill; her second husband, Gerald Rhodes; one brother, James Ausburn; and one sister, Pearl Westbrook.
