Lowell Wray Harris, 92, of Searcy went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 30th at Unity Health Medical Center. He was born December 18, 1928, in Bloomfield, Iowa to the late Glen and Kate (Farley) Harris.
Lowell was a member of West Side Church of Christ. He built two churches in Iowa. He was a hard worker who retired from Alcoa Aluminum 30 years of service. Lowell was a craftsman, a folk artist, and he enjoyed traveling. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory is his children, two sons, Terry Harris (Melodee) of Searcy, and Tom Harris (Becky) of Franklin, North Carolina; one daughter, Deborah Griffith of Searcy; eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Lowell was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Rosemary Harris; and nine siblings.
Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 6th at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral service will start at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 6th in the Searcy McEuen Chapel.
Interment will be at White County Memorial Gardens.
