Aunt Betty,

I know you wanted me to be there for this sad occasion; however, it is not possible.
Just know that we are with you in prayer.

We pray that God will help you through this trying time. He will.

Lois is in a better place where she is no longer suffering.

Lois will be greatly missed by all of us who were a part of her life during her presence on earth.

When our family arrived from Arkansas, you were a one person Welcome Committee, introducing us to the latest games, toys & life in California.

As I grew older, I became your big brother/bodyguard.

From my childhood to now, you have been a big sister to me and my shining star.

It hurts me that I can't be there in person to say a "final" goodbye.

You will remain in my heart forever.

Dearest Betty, This isn't the way it's supposed to be. You're not supposed to have to bury your children. I am so sorry to read about Lois. we were nearly the same age. Robert and I have been married 50 years as of last year. Tried to find you to come celebrate with us.
I know Mother, Daddy and Johnny will be there to welcome Lois, now that she has gone to rest in God's arms. And we know we'll see her again. Just know we are thinking of you and love you very much. Always have, always will.
