Kevin Wayne Money

Kevin Wayne Money passed from this life at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 10th, 2026, at the age of 61. He was born on October 25, 1964 to James and Bobbie Money in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Kevin was known for his devotion to the Lord and his family, strong work ethic, and love of golf and the community that it brought him. After meeting Karla Emberson at the age of 16, and dating for 3 years, they married in 1983 and spent 43 more wonderful years together. Their love and commitment to each other has been an encouragement to us all.

He started his long career at Searcy Uniform and Mat in 1990. He continued there as it became Searcy Industrial Laundry and Cintas, working until the few weeks before his surgery. His fellow employees and customers praised his incredible work ethic. Kevin never met a stranger, and sought to make those around him feel loved and cared for.

Kevin started playing golf with his brothers-in-law, sons, and nephews. He loved the community aspect of the game. He made numerous acquaintances and playing partners over the years, that came to call him friend. The game of golf became an activity that he would pass along to his kids and grandkids. You could usually find him playing with one of his sons, a regular foursome, or taking one of his grandkids for 9-holes.

His faith in God played a defining role in his life. Above all else, he was a child of God and looked forward to the day he would meet his Savior face to face in Heaven. We rejoice knowing that his faith became sight as soon as he departed this life. His desire was that all would come to know Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Bobbie Money; a brother, Keith Money; father-in-law, Robert Emberson; mother-in-law, Lawanda Emberson; a sister-in-law, Amanda Jones; a niece, Victoria Emberson; a nephew, Andrew Emberson, and a nephew, Scotty Piker.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Karla Money; sons, Jordan Money (Amanda) and Jacob Money (Constance); Poppi's grandkids, Jackson, Ava, Emma, Lincoln, Hayden, Mason, Tanner, and Marley; a brother, Terry Piker (Jeleene); brother, Darren Money (Virginia); sister, Melissa Miller (Scott); brothers-in-law, Breck Emberson (Paula), Greg Emberson (Dana), Mark Emberson (Monica), Michael Jones; a bonus granddaughter, Charlee Kay Money and a large family of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Judsonia Youth Fund: PO BOX 427, Judsonia, Arkansas 72081.

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Searcy First Assembly of God Church. A Memorial Service will held Friday at 5:30 p.m. at the Searcy First Assembly of God Church.
