Kathleen Barger

Kathleen Barger, 96, of Searcy passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at White County Medical Center. She was born July 28, 1918 in Harmony Community to the late Thermon and Vita (Heggie) Roberson.

Kathleen was a member of Harmony Methodist Church. She loved fishing and gardening. She was a Razorback fan. She loved and cherished her grandchildren. Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is, two sons, Sonny Barger (Clara) of Searcy and Jim Barger (Carolyn) of Heber Springs; five daughters, Nola Baker (Howard), Linda Ramsey (Richard), Ruth Poole (Hob), Ann Barnett, and Bobbie Evans all of Pangburn; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and fifteen great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Barger; and one brother, Eddie Roberson.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Gilliam officiating.
Interment will be at Harmony Cemetery.
