Johnny Franklin Lansdell

Johnny Franklin Lansdell, 79, passed away August 9, 2025. He was born March 12, 1947 in Tuscumbia, Alabama to Flur Lansdell, Sr. and Helen Roden Lansdell. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Carolyn Brundage, nephew, Michael Brundage, and grandson, Garrett (Andrew) Lynch.

Johnny retired from the United States Army and later worked various jobs. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Cabot and the Christian Car Club. He loved bowling, card games, road trips, and any kind of work with his hands. All he wanted was to be with his family and look at classic cars. He had a serious sweet tooth and could have survived on snacks and Dr. Pepper. He had the biggest heart even if it was hidden by a hard shell.

He is survived by his granddaughter, Jordyn Snyder (Timmy) and her children, Aubree and Liam Snyder; older brother, Flur Lansdell, Jr. and his children, Jodie Lynch (Gary), Lisa Smith, Jay Lansdell (Becky) and Tracy Lansdell; 11 other grandchildren and an abundance of great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Cabot, 204 N. 3rd St., Cabot, AR 72023 on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.  The family request memorials in lieu of flowers.  www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com.
