Johnita Burnett

Johnita Burnett, 67, of Searcy passed away Tuesday, May 19th at her residence. She was born May 20, 1947 in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas to the late Silas and Winnie (Ball) Franklin.
Johnita was a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ for 36 years. She loved the Lord and serving her church. Johnita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.

Johnita is survived by her husband of 50 years, Griffin Burnett of Searcy; two daughters, Candie Burnett Watts (David) of Conway, Arkansas and Melissa Burnett Badger (John) of Searcy, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Haley Katherine Chumley, Emily Brooke Stokes, Macy Anne Badger, and Carson Olivia Badger; two great grandchildren, Piper Reece and Presley Gray Chumley; one brother, James Franklin of Cherry Valley, Arkansas; three sisters, Annette Simmons of Wynne, Arkansas, Nellie Kay Tapley of Millington, Tennessee, and Jan Chism of Caldwell, Arkansas.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm. Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Cloverdale Church of Christ. Interment Lewis Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers the family ask that memorials be made to Children's Home Inc., 5515 Walcott Road, Paragould, Arkansas 72450
