John Mark Brannan, 48, of Rose Bud, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 at his home.
He was born August 16, 1974 in Grayling, Michigan to David Robert Brannan and Carol Lee (Hiveley) Brannan.
John was raised in the Assembly of God Church. He retired from the United States Air Force after having served his country for 19 years. During his time in the Air Force, he was stationed in Japan and German, he served 1 tour in Iraq and 2 tours in Afghanistan.
After his retirement he worked as an EMT, enjoyed hunting, and spending time with his family in the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Guess) Brannan; his children, Samuel Brannan (Hannah), Nicholaus Brannan, Connor Wortham and Kamryn Wortham; grandchildren, Karrington John Brannan, Kameron Brannan and Miya Brannan; siblings, Jaymie Brannan Perkins (Marcel), Joshua Brannan (Alina), Billy Waddell, and Shellie Lanhart-Bates; his parents, David and Carol; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, two aunts and his best friend bear.
The family will hold a Memorial Service on Friday, December 30, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Rose Bud First Baptist Church with military honors to follow the service provided by the Air Force Honor Guard.
