Joe Wortham Killough

Joe Wortham Killough, 94, died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 26, 2019.  He was born to the late Monroe and Annie (Smith) Killough in Searcy, Arkansas on August 17, 1925.

Joe attended the South Heights Freewill Baptist Church.  He served his country honorably during WWII in the U.S. Navy.  Joe liked to garden, watching sports, and loved talking to people.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory is his faithful wife of 65 years; Velma (Richards) Killough, one son; Bobby Killough of Pinole, California, one brother; Glenn Killough (Mary) of Columbus, Georgia, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
