Jo Ann Baker

October 20, 1925 — April 12, 2015

Jo Ann Baker, 89 of Searcy passed away Sunday, April 12th at Providence Assisted Living. She was born October 20, 1925 in Sweetwater, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.A. and Ina Rosenquest of Breckenridge, Texas and a brother, John A. Rosenquest.

Jo Ann was a member of First Baptist Church in Kensett. She retired from Remington Rand. For the past fifteen years she served as a member of the White County Medical Center Auxiliary and loved her time spent as a volunteer.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 68 years, Lilburn Baker; three sons, John E. Baker (Gale) of Fence Lake, New Mexico, Aaron Baker (Karen) of Rose Bud, Arkansas, Ron Baker (Terri) of Batesville, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Kensett First Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Clement officiating.
Interment will be at White County Memorial Gardens.
In Lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Arkansas Baptist Children's Home, 10 Remington Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204
