Jean Carol (Brown) Ward

Jean Carol (Brown) Ward, 80, of Searcy passed away Monday, August 12th at Oakdale Nursing Home. She was born January 20, 1939 in Washington, D.C. to the late Lloyd and Clara (Putnam) Brown.

Jean was a strong, faithful woman who had a deep belief in God. She loved flowers. She loved to laugh and to make others laugh. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her children. One daughter, Wendy Spann (Curtis) of Searcy; one son, Jody Ward (Isis) of San Leon, Texas; one grandson, Caleb Spann; one sister, Roxie Troillett of Searcy; and one sister in law, Mary Ann Brown of Georgia, and very special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Scott Ward; and one brother, Lloyd Brown Jr.
