J.B. Swindle

J.B. Swindle, 92, of Searcy passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Unity Health Medical Center. He was born September 22, 1926 in Hickory Plains, Arkansas to the late Joe and Bonnie (Guinn) Swindle.

J.B. had a passion for cattle and was a lifetime cattleman. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved his family and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. J.B. will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 66 years, Betty Swindle; four sons, Mike Swindle (Beth) of Searcy, Bobby Swindle (Katrina) of Searcy, Jerry Swindle of Fort Worth, Texas, and Tony Swindle (Ginann) of Sherwood; fourteen grandchildren, Michael Swindle, Jordan Swindle, Cody Swindle, Erik Swindle, Riley Swindle, Joey Swindle, Sheli Seamans, Corey Swindle, Ty Swindle, Andrea Grice, Sam Swindle, Matt Swindle, John Swindle; and thirty great grandchildren.

J.B. was preceded in death by one daughter in law, Joy Swindle; one grandson, Jason Swindle; two brothers, Jaybird Swindle and John Swindle; and four sisters, Madie Richards, Lena Harrison, Jewell Brunfield, and Goldie Richards.

Visitation will be April 19th from 1:00-2:00 pm Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be April 19th at 2:00 pm at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery in Searcy, AR.
