James Harvey Davis

James H. Davis, 82, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 3, 2019, surrounded by his family.  He was born September 18, 1937, in Searcy, Arkansas to the late James Harvey Sr. and Anna (Roth) Davis.

James was a member of the Saint James Catholic Church.  He served 14 years in the Arkansas Air National Guard, 189th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron.  He retired from Sperry-Vickers Corporation and Dassault Falcon Jet.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Nancy Ann Davis.

Survivors are his wife of 54 years; Joyce (Holden) Davis.  A son; Michael Freeling (Teresa) of Searcy, Granddaughter; Candace Taylor and Tiffany Hale (Jonathan) of Searcy, Great-Grandchildren; Ava and Jackson Taylor, Taylor and Brooklyn Hale, six step-Grandchildren all of Searcy.
