In Loving Memory of Jim 

Jim Cook, born September 19, 1963 in Searcy, Arkansas, and passed away peacefully at home on September 9th, 2026 surrounded by his family.

Jim was a fun-loving and good hearted, and never met a little mischief he didn’t like. He loved hanging out with his friends and family, sharing laughs, making memories, and simply enjoying the people he loved. Above all, Jim was a father who loved his children very dearly, and his family was always a special part of his heart.

Jim fought a long and incredibly hard battle, showing strength and courage along the way. Today, that battle is over, and he has finally gone home. We take comfort in the fact that he was surely greeted on the other side by those who went before him—his grandparents, his father, his sister, and a host of uncles—who were surely waiting with open arms.

Jim leaves behind his mother, Patsy Cook; his sister Molly Warrington; his children, Alicia Cook and Eric Cook; and many other family and friends who loved him dearly and will carry his memory in their hearts.

Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we are grateful for the laughter, the stories, the mischief, and the memories he leaves behind. Jim may no longer be sitting around the table with us, but his presence will live on in every story we tell, every laugh that reminds us of him, and every memory we hold close. Rest easy, Jim. Your fight is over. You are home, you are loved, and you will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
