Imogene Glover

Imogene Glover, 85, of Higginson went to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 18th at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 8, 1940 in Wheatley, Arkansas to the late Sam and Josephine Vincent.

Imogene was a member of Higginson First Baptist Church. She retired first from Land O Frost, and then from the City of Higginson. Imogene loved her family and cherished her grandchildren. She was a beloved grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jimmy Putt (Sissy) of Cabot; three step children, Vicky Williams, Jody Glover, and Tonya Johnson all of North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Joel Putt, Bridget Putt, Jena Rambo, Haley Coulter, Josh Johnson, Daniel Miller, Zachary Miller, and Randall Miller; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, Larry Vincent (Holly); and two sisters, Barbara Fortune, and Judy Weems (Larry).

In addition to her parents, Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Glover; one daughter, Jena Lorraine Putt; and three brothers, Bobby Joe Simpson, Johnny Vincent, and Gary Vincent.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22nd from 9:00 – 10:00 am, at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 22nd starting at 10:00 am in the Searcy McEuen Chapel.

Interment will follow at Glover Cemetery in Cabot.
