Christine was born on October 28, 1933, in Mountainair, New Mexico, and passed away on March 17, 2026, in Searcy,Arkansas, at the age of 92.
She spent much of her life exploring and embracing new places. Christine lived in California, New Jersey, Idaho, Washington, Texas, Ontario, Canada and Arkansas. She had a deep love for travel, often tagging along with her husband, Ozzie, to fishing holes and places of interest. A fearless traveler, she cherished trips across the United States and Canada, stopping along the way to see landmarks and family alike.
Christine found joy in life's simple and meaningful moments, traveling to visit family, discovering new places and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a voracious reader and always had one or two books on the go. She especially enjoyed creating photo books that captured cherished family memories. Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life, sustaining her through all 92 years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert E. McMahon (d. September 11, 1951) and Deloy W. Oswald (d. May 2004).
Christine was predeceased by her children Pam, Doreen, Karla, and Reed. She is survived by her daughter Christine M. Foster (Billy). She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, including Kila McCann (Tim), Joshua Foster, Zeke Harrington (Zoey), Justin Harrington (Kabo), Wade Wilson (Amanda), Kyle Oswald, and Travis Oswald as well as five great grandchildren, Mackenzie McCann (Monica), Marshall McCann (Isabela), Aubrey Sutherland, Kira Foster, and Lacy Oswald.
She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Smith of Searcy, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews across the United States and Canada.
Christine was a longtime member of the West Side Church of Christ in Searcy, where her faith and community were central to her life.
She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and traveler whose love for family, adventure, and faith touched all who knew her. www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com
