Helen Collins

Helen Collins, age 77, of Searcy, died Friday, August 10, 2007. She was born October 20, 1929 in Step Rock, Arkansas to the late Willie and Myrtle Britton. She was a member of West Side Church of Christ where she was an active member of Golden Years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jack Britton, and a sister, Hazel Holliman. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Fred Collins; sons Barry Collins and wife Patsy of Judsonia, Scott Collins and wife Gaila of Portland, Oregon; daughters, Barbara Collins and husband Victor Woldridge of Houston, Texas, Ellen Garrison and husband Vern of Gresham, Oregon; a sister, Wilma Johnson of Searcy; an aunt, Ella Sims of Step Rock; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
