Harry Roberts

Harry O. Roberts, 93, of Searcy died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in Searcy. He was born September 23, 1917 in Springfield, Illinois to the late Fred and Mathilda Braasch Roberts.
Mr. Roberts was a member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Searcy. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII in Aleutian Islands, Alaska. He was also a barber in Des Arc and Searcy; and retired from the International Shoe Company.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Barbara Roberts; two sisters, Elfrieda Blair of Springfield, Illinois and Ada Walker of Phoenix, Arizona.
Visiting hours will be held 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 14 at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Searcy. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2011 at the church.
Interment will follow at Lake Side Cemetery in Des Arc, Arkansas under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
