Harold Chester Bomar

Harold Chester Bomar, 87, of Rose Bud passed away Wednesday, October 9th at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. He was born November 4, 1925 in Joy, Arkansas to the late Pierce Bomar and Nettie Garrison Bomar.
He was a member of Mt. Bethel Freewill Baptist Church and served as Deacon beginning in 1959. He loved farming and valued hard work. He treasured his family and was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Bomar and his second wife, Gladys Bomar; and one brother, Buel Bomar.

He is survived by his three sons, Terry Bomar (Barbara) of Rose Bud, Roger Bomar (Tammy) of Rose Bud, and Tim Bomar (Terri) of Romance; one sister, Jerri Cooper of Searcy; nine grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Alan, Tracey, Kristy, Chad, Jennifer, Dana, and Kyle; and seventeen great grandchildren.

Visiting hours are 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 10th at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 11th at Mt. Bethel Freewill Baptist Church with burial following at Mt. Bethel Cemetery.
