Gregory Myles Smith

Gregory Myles Smith, age 14, passed away February 1, 2014. He was born January 25, 2000 in Searcy to Tamika N. Williams and Santana Smith.
Myles attended Searcy Sunshine School and was in the 8th grade. He was also a member of St. Mary CME Church, where he was active and loved to sing, and out-sung the choir.
Myles was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Cecil Aldridge; paternal great grandfather and name sake, Miles and Essie Mae Smith, maternal great grandfather, L.C. Johnson, maternal great grandmother, Mary F. Cunningham; aunt, Penny Cunningham; and cousin Chuckie Cunningham.
In addition to his parents, he leaves to mourn, three sisters, Shalonda Bright, Taliyah and Amare Smith; three brothers, Damardre and Grant Smith, and Taylon Williams; maternal grandparents, Michael and Jeanette Williams; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Cantrell; maternal great grandparents, Clementine Williams and Roy Bradley; one uncle, Michael Williams; two aunts, Shauntina George and Tiffany (Aaron) Thompson, (Austen and Andrew); one niece and two nephews, DaKaylan, Zariah, and JaLyrie Bright; one special great aunt, Shirley Cunningham; and many cousins and friends. Myles will be forever remembered for his love of laughter and being so happy!

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Crow Cemetery.
